How many pictures will we receive?
I take hundreds of photos during each session. Typically galleries of 50 photos is the standard you will receive but there are options to upgrade to the full gallery or add on photos individually for $15/photo.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
That is on YOU. Moms and Dads know their baby best and I try to keep and respect your routines. But it's a safe bet to say right after feedings to capture those sleepy baby shots.
What if we want a more out of the box session?
Let's do it! I'm down for anything! Family date at the ice cream parlor, picnic in the fields, beach day and end with a splash party. Literally you dream it and I'll bring it to life.
Do you ever offer mini sessions?
Not often, but if I do it'll be a location of my choosing and within 20-30 minutes from me in South Lyon.
How early should I book our session?
As soon as possible! Even if you don't have a specific date in mind or your waiting for your baby to arrive you can pay your non-refundable retainer and get on my priority list for when you're ready to book (putting you ahead of clients who inquire after you).
How should we dress for our family session?
Clothing that adds movement is always a winner. Color is fun but for most shoots, neutral, earthy tones and texture are my favorite. But if you want a POP of color I'm always here for it!! If you'd like help with color schemes, I can put together some ideas for you.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely!! I still get a little uncomfortable in front of a camera. Just remember I will be there to guide you and hype you up :) I'm not here to photograph trained models, I'm here to capture your everyday, genuine personalities.
Do you allow reschedules?
Hey, no one can control Mother Nature. I allow one time rescheduling for weather, illness or emergencies. Any additional reschedule is $50.
What's your turn around time?
Right now my turn around time is 2-3 weeks. Can change at any point depending on how busy I am but this will be discussed when booking your session.
